Direct Support Professional (DSP) Recognition Week will be held from September 8–14, 2024. The week-long celebration is a nationwide effort to recognize the work of DSPs, who support people with disabilities in their communities. DSPs provide essential support that allows people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to live independent lives.

Protected Harbor is blessed with amazing DSPs. They take pride in their work and bless each client daily DSPs have ears that listen, arms that hug and hold, love that’s never-ending, support that never fails, encouragement that helps individuals grown, and a heart made of gold.

During the week of September 8-14, keep our DSPs in your prayers. Give thanks for the work they do for God’s special people. Ask for God to give them strength, fulfillment, and support. While this week is a recognition week, we ask that your prayers continue throughout the year.
